How We Rate Promo Codes
Every code and offer on YaPromo gets exactly one label. The label is decided by rules, not by how much a brand pays.
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| Verified | Our own code issued to YaPromo by the brand or its affiliate network, or a code we applied at a real checkout and saw the discount, or a code we checked by hand in the last 72 hours. |
| Official | The brand publishes the code or offer on its own website, app, help pages or newsletter sign-up, or a bank or card partner publishes it on its own site. No-code offers such as free delivery thresholds also use this label. |
| Widely listed | Three or more independent coupon sites list the same code for the same country within the last 30 days. We have not checked it ourselves. |
| Unconfirmed | Listed elsewhere by fewer sites, or not seen recently. Worth a try, but expect some to fail. |
| Ended | Expired, withdrawn or reported as not working. Kept on the page so you do not waste time on it. |
What we check
- Country: each code is listed only for the country site it works on.
- Who it is for: new customers, existing customers or everyone.
- Limits: minimum spend, maximum discount and end date, when the source states them.
- Delivery and returns facts: read from the brand's own pages, with the date we read them.
What we never do
- Invent codes, or list a code we only saw in a search snippet.
- Call a code verified because a coupon site said so.
- Hide ended codes to make a page look fuller.
Shopper feedback
The “Worked for you?” buttons are counted per offer. Votes are shown once there are at least three, and a run of “No” votes flags the code for us to re-check. Votes never change a label on their own.
